More than 50 years in construction taught us that good work starts with keeping your word.
We Show Up Home Services opened in 2021, but our construction experience reaches back more than five decades. Long before this business had a name, years spent working hands-on in construction, operating previous businesses, and building and developing in Costa Rica shaped how we approach a home today. We learned how to solve problems with our hands, pay attention to the details, and look at a project from more than one angle.
We also saw a problem that had little to do with tools or materials. Homeowners were waiting for callbacks, dealing with missed appointments, and struggling to find experienced people willing to handle smaller and mid-sized projects. We believed the experience could be different. That belief became our name and a straightforward way of doing business: we show up, listen, communicate clearly, respect the property, and follow through on what we say we will do.
Today, we help homeowners with kitchen and bathroom remodeling, deck and stair work, window and door installation, finish carpentry, hurricane preparation, and minor storm repairs. Our focus is quality over quantity, which gives us room to understand how a homeowner uses the space and recommend practical changes that make sense for the house, priorities, and budget.
We are equally straightforward about the work we do not perform. Roofing, concrete work, structural engineering, and major plumbing belong with the appropriate trades, and we will say so rather than take on work outside our scope.
